All seven persons on board a Beechcraft Super King-Air escaped injury after the starboard main undercarriage inadvertently retracted as the RFDS B200 was about to exit the runway at Essendon airport

A pilot aged in his 70's has survived a forced landing after the ultralight aircraft he was flying had the engine fail shortly after take-off from the Serpentine aerodrome at Hopeland south of Perth
