 MULTIPLE FATALITIES IN PIPER CHEROKEE CRASH IN VICTORIA 

Victorian Police have confirmed that three persons on board a Piper Cherokee have been found deceased and a fourth person unaccounted for after the 1967 PA-28-235 crashed into the sea off Barwon Heads

"Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident in Barwon Heads where a plane has gone into the water"
Reports indicate that poor weather in the area may have been a contributing factor

 PASSENGER INJURED IN FLOATPLANE LANDING AT WHITSUNDAY'S CHANCE BAY 

A female passenger - one of 11 passengers on board a Cessna floatplane on a scenic flight around the Whitsunday Islands - has been seriously injured after the pilot of the C208 they were in apparently lost control during the landing sequence

Media reports state that the turbine powered aircraft "..clipped a wave ..passengers were evacuated back to Hamilton Island on a private vessel ..10 are being treated by paramedics here on Hamilton Island in one of the function rooms"

 JABIRU PILOT UNINJURED IN LANDING MISHAP IN WEST OZ 

A 'mature-age' pilot of an ultralight registered Jabiru escaped unharmed after the aircraft he was flying impacted the ground during the landing approach to Morawa airport in WA

"The 80-year-old pilot was flying from Geraldton to Morawa when the aircraft was caught in a cross-wind on approach to the Morawa Airport - the pilot was not injured"
