 ALL SURVIVE PA-28 ENGINE FAILURE AFTER TAKE-OFF FROM BANKSTOWN 

The pilot and two passengers on board a Piper PA-28 Cherokee have survived unscathed after the engine failed shortly after take-off from Bankstown airport in NSW

Quoting from the Media:
"...A forced landing was conducted onto a golf course ..and came to rest in a lake"
"The pilot and passengers were not injured
"

 HELICOPTER PILOT SURVIVES POWER-LINE STRIKE IN TASMANIA'S NORTH 

The 37-year-old pilot of a Schweizer 269C sustained serious injuries after the rotary-wing machine he was flying struck power-lines during ag-ops at Deloraine

Quoting from the Media:
"...He was taken to Launceston General Hospital with broken bones and facial cuts and is in a serious but stable condition"

 THREE SURVIVE ROTARY-WING IMPACT DURING POWER-LINE INSPECTION IN SA 

The pilot of a Hughes 369D rotary-wing along with his two passengers have been seriously injured and airlifted to SA's Port Augusta Hospital for assessment after a crash during a power-line inspection

Quoting from the Media:
"...the three men injured in the crash were conducting a power line survey ...a duress alarm was activated from the helicopter north-west of Hawker"

The pilot of a hot-air balloon sustained injuries after the lighter-than-air machine clipped trees during the landing approach at York around 100kms east of Perth in WA

Quoting from the Media:
"...16 passengers were on board the balloon at the time but none were hurt in the incident"
The pilot was taken to Royal Perth Hospital

 PILOT KILLED MUSTERING CATTLE IN CESSNA 150 NEAR SA-NT BORDER

A 46-year-old high-profile cattleman has died after the Cessna 150G fixed-wing aircraft he was flying crashed during a cattle muster on New Crown Station about 15 kilometres south of the South Australian border

Quoting from the Media:
"...William ‘Billy’ Hayes from the cattle pioneering Hayes family died in a gyrocopter crash near the South Australian border ...was the pilot and sole occupant of the gyrocopter"

"It was initially reported (as) a gyrocopter"
