PASSENGERS ESCAPE INJURY AFTER MAULE FLIPS ON LANDING AT COOTHARABA

The pilot of a 4-seat Maule sustained only minor injuries and his 2-passengers escaped unharmed after the fabric covered aircraft they were in ended up inverted after an apparent loss of control during the landing sequence on a private airstrip at Cootharaba N-W of Noosa in QLD

The grass surface of the airstrip may have also contributed to the inverting

Quoting from the Media:
"A MALE in his 60s has been taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries"
