 SEPTEMBER 13  2016  Posted 5:10 PM 13/09/2016

News media have misreported "Cessna 210 made an emergency landing" at Coolangatta airport that was totally incorrect - the aircraft concerned was a twin-engine pilot trainer whilst the Cessna C210 is a high-performance single

"The twin-engine diesel powered aircraft was a Diamond DA42 NG operated by a 'Commercial and Airline Pilot Training Academy' at Coolangatta airport" ..and the wheels were apparently not extended for landing!
