A 24-year-old pilot along with his 23-year-old female passenger on board a Piper Warrior have survived an engine failure after take-off from Camden airport west of Sydney

 The pilot sustained "...facial and head injuries ..the woman an injured ankle - The pair were taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition"
