ONE SURVIVOR IN ULTRALIGHT EMERGENCY LANDING S-E OF MELBOURNE

A student pilot and instructor have survived an emergency landing after the BRM Aero Bristell ultralight they were in crashed into a paddock south-east of Melbourne

POWER-LINES CLAIM HELICOPTER AND PILOT NEAR CLONCURRY IN QLD

A cattle mustering helicopter - believed to be Robinson R22 - has crashed into a paddock near Cloncurry after striking power lines

UPDATE

Brent Acton aged 40 and the father of two young children died when the Robinson R22 helicopter he was flying crashed into a paddock on Lanark Property and burst into flames

He was heading out to a property about 30 odd kilometres out of town to do some mustering - he wasn’t mustering at the time and it’s undetermined yet as to what happened
