CESSNA 210P ENGINE FAILS ON FINAL APPROACH TO MILDURA AIRPORT

The 42-year-old pilot of a pressurised Cessna 210 has walked away uninjured after the engine failed on approach to Mildura airport that forced a landing into a paddock just short of the runway

The engine is believed to have cut out when the pilot was making an approach to the north south runway "The Cessna 210 struck a two metre high fence which caused slight damage to the right hand side wing strut"
