A 31-year-old charter pilot has been charged with 342 offences following a protracted multi-agency investigation into the alleged tampering of aircraft at the Mount Isa Airport and numerous counts of endangering the safety of a person in a vehicle with intent, dangerous operation of a vehicle, flying aircraft without a licence and fraud

 Media reports have a light aircraft that "crashes" into a lettuce field at Gatton - There is no visual evidence that the machine actually "crashed" during the precautionary landing
