The pilot of an amateur-built D150 Sky Prince along with his passenger have survived uninjured after the 2-seater they were in had the engine fail on take-off followed by a loss-of-control at Caboolture airport in QLD

 The 1992 constructed aircraft impacted airport terrain dislodging the port wing after the control loss and was eventually retrieved off the runway and trailed back to the owner's hangar
