EXPERIENCED 78-YEAR-OLD PILOT
A 78-year-old pilot in his rotary-wing gyrocraft reported to be flying between Bundaberg and Yeppoon on the central QLD coast is the focus of an intensive search by Helicopter Rescue Teams after failing to arrive at his destination 24-hrs ago
"Six rescue helicopters from across the state are still searching for the missing pilot and gyrocopter"

 The 78-year-old pilot has been found deceased in the wreckage of his rotary-wing gyrocraft at Baffle Creek near Bundaberg
"A 14-year-old-boy ..saw it flying near his family's property ..it was reported to authorities on Thursday"
