ROTARY-WING LOSS-OF-CONTROL
A 56-year-old flying instructor and his 43-year-old student pilot sustained relativity minor injuries after a training exercise at Bankstown airport 'malfunctioned' (heavy-landing) with the tail-boom of Robinson R22 they were in striking terrain and then breaking-off  .."I heard a crash and heard the tail rotor hitting the ground"

PILOT & PASSENGER UNINJURED IN CESSNA 185 TAKE-OFF CRASH AT GLADSTONE

TAKE-OFF LOSS-OF-CONTROL ISSUE
The pilot of a Cessna 185 'tail-dragger' appears to have lost directional control during take-off at Gladstone airport that ended-up in a "ground-loop" damaging the aircraft
"..there were no injuries and both the pilot and the passenger were able to walk away from the crash"

LANDING CRASH OF HOT-AIR BALLOON IN VICTORIA INJURES 7-PERSONS

LANDING LOSS-OF-CONTROL ISSUE
A hot-air balloon operated by Go Wild Ballooning offering scenic flights around the Melbourne area apparently landed 'heavy' into a paddock at Dixon's Creek injuring 7 of the 16 persons on board
"..paramedics assessed 16 people at the scene and seven were then taken to the Royal Melbourne, Box Hill and Maroondah hospitals"
