           TOURISTS INJURED IN R44 CRASHA passenger onboard a tourist helicopter 'sunset flight' in the Uluru/Ayres-Rock area sustained multiple fractures and chest injuries and the pilot and one passenger had suspected spinal injuries after the R-44 rotary-wing they were in crashed following an apparent engine failure and loss-of-control
 The fourth person on board was treated for minor injuries

           APPARENT LOSS-OF-CONTROLThe 53-year-old pilot of a Pioneer Flightstar ultralight was found deceased after failing to return to his departure airport of Emerald in central QLD whilst on a solo training exercise
 
 The instructor located the crashed machine in a paddock about 15 kilometres south of Emerald "..he was found deceased at the scene (and) was very close to obtaining his recreational pilots licence"
