PILOT INJURED AFTER HOME-BUILT ULTRALIGHT IMPACTS TREE AT COOMINYA IN QLD

PILOT IN STABLE CONDITION
A mature-age pilot was injured after the ultralight registered home-built Zenith CH701 he was flying impacted a tree and crashed on private property near Coominya 90kms north-west of Archerfield after an apparent engine failure
The pilot "..suffered facial and hip injuries and was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition"
