NIGHT CIRCUIT TRAINING DISASTER
A pilot undergoing night circuit checkout along with the instructor in a high-performance Cirrus SR22 sustained serious injuries after the fibreglass constructed 4-seater impacted terrain and caught fire after an apparent loss-of-control issue during take-off at night
"The aircraft, with a trainee pilot and instructor on board, was conducting a training flight at the time of the collision"
